"A Joyful Heart is Good Medicine"
This is a 36-in x 48-in painting of our granddaughter, at the age of three.
The reference picture for this painting came from a photo taken at her pony birthday party. There were many adorable pictures taken that day, but I chose this one because to me when I think of our granddaughter, I think of a precious, loving little girl with a heart that overflows with "joy".
At times you can hear her sing while she's doing something - And if asked why she's singing, she says: "Because I'm happy"!
The painting is titled "A Joyful Heart is Good Medicine", which comes from Proverbs 17:22 - a joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.
I read that children laugh 300-400 times a day -The average adult laughs 15 times a day. Maybe we need to become more childlike (not childish - We might be healthier.
